Paella amor was formed in 2013 when Tim Darton and Alli Peters went into business together with their complementary skills. Paella amor specialises in paella parties, paella events, tapas, beverage (including alcoholic beverages such as sangria) hire and creating unique events. Chef Tim Darton began his career training at William Blue College of Hospitality and Management.
Below is an indication of the size of the paellas we can cook with our lovely model 'Chef Tim'. Sydney Paella catering has become confusing! We want to make it simple. As a Sydney paella caterer we have a number of pans which we use. Each one suits a different size paella party and each one is imported from Valencia in Spain.
Our tapas are a great addition to our paellas and allow your guests to have something to eat whilst the paella is cooking. Our tapas range in price from $1 to $6 per item so please get in contact to disucss your event. We can also create tapas to our clients specifications so if there is something you don't see here, please let us know and we will do our best to create it for you.
Our paellas are made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We prepare everything in our commercial, food safe kitchen and have a food safety supervisor. We then cook everything in front of your guests providing a theatrical, engaging and entertaining solution to your catering needs. Best of all, if you decide to proceed with a booking from Paella amor, the tasting is deducted from your final bill.

Paella Amor catered my friends 50th and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
They arrived on time, set up, cooked and served, all without imposing on the party.
They worked in with our timing and were so accommodating and friendly.
The paella was fabulous and any leftovers were packaged up and placed in a fridge for us to collect later.
From initial booking, to coordinating the evening and finally the food, they couldn’t have made the process easier.

The Paella Amor team did an amazing job at our recent engagement party! They had a 'no stress' attitude - when they arrived there were some logistical issues with the venue and they took it all in their stride without creating any fuss. They were very professional and the paella was absolutely delicious! Everyone commented how good it tasted. They even worked the room, serving drinks and making sure everyone was happy. They kept us well informed of their progress throughout the night. We would definitely use this team again. Looking forward to our next event. Thank you so much!

We and our guests were so impressed with Paella Amor and Boardwalk catering.
The food was absolutely delicious. Norman and Yvonnick worked really hard. They were efficient and unobstrusive but always there to refresh and replenish snacks and drinks.
Dave was fantastic- the paella - amazing. Our teenage helpers thought he was super funny. And we thought he was super professional.

Paella Amore team members, Shane and Dave, were just great. They were on time, professional, thoughtful, impeccably dressed and well mannered.
Shane worked tirelessly all night, managing food and helped with many other things. I did not have to handle any small detail because I had Shane to handle. They both kept the place spotless! My guests had plenty of paella with a choice of two flavours. I would highly recommend this team!

Thank you for your excellent service at my party on Saturday. The food was great! The portions were a really good size and no one went hungry. I received lots of compliments on the paella and what a cool idea it is for a party.
I want to make special mention of your waiter Shane. He was a champion. People arrived all at once and I was completely overwhelmed. He just went from server to event manager and worked so hard throughout the night to make sure my party was a success. Paella Amor prepared delicious paella for our son's 21st. In the office, Alli was attentive and understanding. David and Shane were a wonderful positive energy at the party. David took incredible care with the cooking of the paella and Shane was an incredibly helpful waiter who helped the party run smoothly. We would definitely use them again.

We had Paella Amor cater for our company Christmas party and they were fantastic! It was easy to organise and made the whole evening very pleasant. Dave and Norman looked after us all so well and the team loved watching Dave cook their dinner while Norman made sure we all had a drink and food. Everyone loved the food and Dave catered very well for those with special diet requirements! It was a far better experience than going to a restaurant where we all stuffed into a small loud venue unable to talk to each other!
