In addition to your diligent daily brushing and flossing at home, you should have a trusted general dentist on your healthcare team. At Docklands Dental Studio, we're happy to welcome new patients and invite you to visit us for all of your dental care needs. We offer general dentistry for children and adults from all walks of life.
Every six months, people over the age of four years should visit us for a dental checkups. Children ages one to three should visit us yearly for a brief oral exam, but no dental cleaning. Those with gum disease or certain health conditions may require more frequent visits, as recommended by a dentist or physician.
Did you know that babies need their mouths cleaned, from the day they are born? Or that children may need interceptive orthodontics soon after their first permanent teeth come in, around age seven? Are you aware that hormone changes in teens can contribute to gum disease? At Docklands Dental Group, we provide children's dentistry and partner with parents to take great care of kids' teeth, from infancy through teenage years, into adulthood.
The best dentistry is preventive. The second best dentistry is minimally invasive. Sometimes, however, removal of a tooth is necessary. In these situations, we offer dental extractions in the comfort of our familiar, inviting office, performed by the professionals you know and trust. Tooth extraction involves removing an entire tooth, root and crown, from its socket in the jawbone.

Due to Covid, holidays and other issues, I have had service from different dentists in this practice. They all have provided professional, attentive and friendly services. All dentists provide expectations on what’s coming up next, progressing issues and treatments if required.

They say, you should get your teeth checked & cleaned by a dentist at least every 6 months. However this has been a very unpleasant & agonizing experience for me a very long time, I've been avoiding dentists as long as possible. Then a friend of mine recommended me Dr. Pia Oparkcharoen few years ago. I can assure you, your next visit to Dr.Pia will feel like as your regular visit to the GP. I wouldn't think twice to call her the best dentist in Melbourne!
