I'm almost lost for words for this guy. He is so passionate and talented and it really shows in his work. He was so easy going and comfortable to be around, which was so important for us, he made it easy to relax. He was also very professional; the months leading up to, on the day and after when designing the album.
I've received so many compliments on the photos I've uploaded because they are so unique, natural and not cliched - he managed to capture those moments and when I flick through, it takes me back to those feelings. Services
For the most part, my upbringing entailed a nomadic existence with my family. This consisted of makeshift homes made from the back of cars, tents, buses and anything in between. Although this upbringing wasn't ideal in many ways, this non material existence and tight perimeters with my family, taught me what I consider to be most important in life.
I have a journalistic approach to photography. My images are personal and quiet. I like the raw emotions and vulnerability weddings bring along with them. I love getting to know my client's personalities and working towards bringing them out in my images. Wedding photography is about making images that actually mean something to you; more than just a pretty picture.

Jai and Leelou made us feel so comfortable on the day, we honestly didn't see them as they took so many beautiful candid pics of us.
We definitely didn't make it easy on the day with glaring light, but they managed to capture our ceremony so flawlessly.
Cannot fault them - Jai and Leelou are clearly passionate about what they do and it reflects in their work.

Everything about Free the Bird is exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer! Jai is sooo easy going and we instantly had a connection with him and felt comfortable which was really important for us.
Jai was so professional and helpful in the lead up to our big day, and on the day itself, he and his wife Leelou were so discrete, and lovely to have around.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for our amazing photos. Our photos are above and beyond what we could have hoped for, taking us back to our special day every time we look at them.
