Services
At Wolper patients can remain under the care of their own GP if they are accredited by the Hospital, or be cared for by one of our physicians or specialists. At every step of treatment, our expert team will provide a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and pharmacy medication review.
The Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation was established in 2014 with the aim of funding health and wellbeing initiatives that will deliver clear benefits to the Jewish and general community. The Foundation will consider applications from organisations for initiatives, programs, projects, services, equipment, capital purchases or any assistance that will create positive health and wellbeing outcomes for the benefit of the community.
As Wolper does not receive funds from any government sources, we rely solely on patient fees, donations and bequests from benefactors. Make a bequest - this is a gift of money as specified in your will and is a wonderful way to leave a legacy for future generations. Sponsor a specific piece of equipment.
Wolper Jewish Hospital is the only not-for-profit Jewish hospital in Australia. Since opening its door on its present site in 1961, Wolper has become one of Sydney's leading private hospitals. We provide rehabilitation, medical and palliative care of the highest quality to the general community in a framework of Jewish culture, religious and dietary requirements.

Fantastic, friendly, amazing staff. Everyone is super friendly, happy, supportive and sensational. Walking in at the front desk you are greeted by happy, smiling people who cannot be more helpful. The nursing staff, doctors, support staff, tea/snack staff - everyone is amazing. When visiting to my mum when she was in rehab and bringing her for her outpatient rehab, I was always welcomed and looked after as well as mum was. The support and rehab she received was absolutely fantastic and everyone that looked after her were super caring and genuine and did all they could. It is an excellent hospital

In my view, the Nursing Management are infantile, immature and adversarial; unable to cope with contemporary health issues. They are not good advocates for the community either, which is surprising. The attitude of a Clinical Nurse Specialist equally as disappointing. These folks unfortunately detract from what could be a worthwhile establishment.

When asked by BUPA were i wanted too go for rehab i had NO hesitation in going back to Wolper. My last experince was fantastic with great staff and facilities .
It was like walking back into a family of caring professionals that made you look forward to your weekly session.
I cant comment on the 10day after operation programme as i never did it but HIGHLY recommend there out patient programme but having said that all the other patients

Terrible they have gone downhill sadly. Once good but not any, ore. Physiotherapist has no respect or empathy for the elderly, quite rude and pushy with no patience what so ever! The food is basic and limited choice. Sadly my mother’s been there a few times and would not allow her to go there again if she had to!

My mother recently spent 2 weeks undergoing rehab and care at Wolper post a shoulder reconstruction operation. She exited very impressed and satisfied from the experience. Wolper is a first class retreat and the service and attention provided by the various medical and physio staff was extremely thorough. And it was a relaxing stay also which was necessary in her case. This is the place you want to end up at for anyone who requires their range of specialist medical care. K, DOVER HEIGHTS

I had a Total Knee Replacement @ St V's Private end April 2013.
My surgeon advised two Rehab Hospitals in the eastern suburbs.
I live in the northern beaches area but my son's home is in the eastern suburbs.
My local very experienced Physiotherapist who treated me prior to surgery for 2 months twice weekly
expressed Wolper Jewish Hospital was excellent. The Physio with her Master's Degree had much experience years ago to do with rehabilitation & she knew my surgeon.
Wolper Jewish hospital's staff & treatment was that of excellence. Even "boot camp" became bearable & it had to be. The staff
