Southport Physiotherapy Centre has been helping people on the Gold Coast for over 30 years and has been under the current ownership since 1999. We are located at 34 High Street on the 3rd floor. At Southport Physiotherapy we take the time to ease patient's pain and educate our clients to better self manage their conditions.
Over the years we have seen a wide variety of conditions. We are strongly supported by the local GP's and Orthopaedic Surgeons and have a good working relationship with them. We provide function and mobility assessments for residents at a number of aged care facilities in the Northern Gold Coast region.

Services
Until you've suffered an injury or experienced chronic pain, it is difficult to appreciate how much it affects your daily life. Sleep is often disrupted, you can feel irritable and simple activities can become challenging and distressing. Physiotherapy can be a simple and cost effective way of reducing pain and regaining control.

This is by far the best Physiotherapy Centre I have been to; Steve went above and beyond in helping me with my return to work program after having a car accident in which I suffered back and Neck injuries and was also suffering major headaches. Steve was brilliant in his diagnosis and the treatment he gave me helped in facilitating me back into the work force. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone his mannerism; professional approach to his work, and follow ups were outstanding Thanks Steve I appreciate everything that you done for me.

Stephen is an excellent practitioner and offers excellent treatment with specialised equipment where necessary. His advice is outstanding and if followed by the patient aids in a speedy recovery.
I have had him treat back and shoulder injuries overt the last twelve years with great success and I have a very physical job and am still going well!

Steve has looked after me and my family for years. Thanks to him my very active mother reached 91years of age and during her final months Steve kept her moving at her own pace so as to have good quality of life. We appreciate the support given her. The benefit I receive from ongoing maintenance helps me get through the week as he has given me the right advice for my conditions. Thanks Steve.

I was referred to Steve Gordon by my orthopedic surgeon who replaced both of my shoulders during the past 3 years. I am in my late 80's and fortunate to find a surgeon who would take on the job. The post operative physio by Steve on both occasions was excellent, and by following his advice on the exercises enabled me to regain full use of my shoulders much sooner than my surgeon expected.
My husband who is close to 90 also had excellent treatment from Steve for a shoulder tendon problem from which he made a good recovery.

I recently hurt my neck and had some serious pain along with difficulty turning my head, sleeping, driving etc. A friend recommended Steve, and I am so thankful she did! I was nervous that the treatment would cause more pain but he was so careful and gentle with me. Provided me with some at home exercises after the first treatment and was back to normal, everyday life after a second visit. If you have any neck troubles (or any troubles in fact), I recommend seeing Southport Physio Centre. Thanks again Steve!

Steve was recommended by my surgeon after a major rotator cuff repair. His expertise and knowledge of the shoulder was immediately apparent with his ability to deal effectively with the recovery.
