Services
Gumnut Kidz Kindergarten and Preschool is run by a University Qualifed Teacher who is passionate about delivering top quality education, care and service to the local community. Our Educators are all experienced nurturing individuals who possess a true passion for teaching children in their vital early years.
Gumnut Kidz caters for Children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm. We are the longest established centre in the local area, we offer long day care service as well a comprehensive play based preschool program. Our Centre caters for a maximum of 29 children per day, which means we have ample time to focus on your child.
At Gumnut Kidz Kindergarten we provide all meals. This includes breakfast for the early arriving children, morning tea, a hot nutritious lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. Our menu is nutritionally balanced, designed and approved by Munch and Move and ensures that your child's intake of carbohydrates, protein, fruit and vegetables and fats are all adequate for their development needs.
Learning through play is the basis of our learning curriculum. We have embraced the Early Years Learning Framework in everything we do. We believe children learn best when they are simply playing. Our Educators will implicitly teach literacy, numeracy, science and social skills through play. Our curriculum is fun, spontaneous, flexible and adaptive to your child's needs.

Gumnut kidz preschool I would say offers a safe nurturing caring environment. The staff are not just teaching they are there every step of the way for the children and parents . They are a great team who care about each other . Always a smile when entering. A family center in every sense of the word . And that is how you would want your child looked after like a family member .

Gumnut kids has been the best decision i have ever made for my daughter. The staff have been supportive and understanding of all situations and always are happy to adapt learning experiences to what is going on at home for certain children who may need to work through things. My daughter has jumped from strength to strength from being at Gumnut kids and i could not be happier. She has developed confidence, self esteem and is reaching milestones beyond her age. After a bad experience with our first daycare, I was hesitant enrolling again. Gumnut Kids have completely restored my trust in educators!.
The girls are so welcoming each and every visit. They respond quickly no matter how many times a day I annoy them. They have the children's best interests and welfare at heart, genuinely. I am confident to say my son will be staying here for a long time. Do yourself a favour and don't bother looking elsewhere!. Such a Beautiful centre, with caring and educated staff.

My once quite and shy little boy loves going to school at Gumnut Kidz he is now confident and a little chatterbox who talks about all his new friends and favourite teachers. The educators are all lovely and easy to talk to I feel so happy knowing my little boy is in their care each day. I also love the feedback I get from the centre each day about what the children are doing and the new and wonderful things they are learning they sure know how to keep the little once entertained.

Amazing centre who genuinely care about each child in their care. My daughter joined when she was 22 months old. The impact the girls have had on her social and educational skills are undeniable. I would recommend a visit for anyone looking for a great local centre full of happy and fun children and staff.

Absolutely amazing preschool! Both my daughter and I love it. The staff are by far the best I have come across. Having other kids we have experienced many centres in the area but find gumnuts to be the best! It's important to feel happy about who is caring for you kids and I have no doubt in my mind the staff at gumnut kidz are the best.

I send both my daughters to Gumnut Kidz and they both love it. From day one, the staff have shown such care and appreciation towards my children providing them with educational experiences where they thrive and grow as individuals. The staff are so friendly and supportive and put you at ease and keep you informed on your children's progress at the centre. Hands down the best daycare centre, I would not trust anyone else to look after my little girls!
