Learn & Play Pre-school

Privately owned and family run early childhood centre, we at Learn & Play Preschool have a strong commitment to participative, consultative and collaborative management. We have developed an ever-evolving environment, which allows for intentional teaching and spontaneous learning, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) principles of 'Being, Belonging and becoming' and the National Quality Framework (NQF.

At Learn & Play Preschool we provide secure, caring relationships that enable young children to learn at their best, where children feel emotionally secure so they are able to learn through our curriculum that is carefully based on the early years framework assessed by the National Quality Standard.

At Learn & Play Preschool we have recently introduced our own yoga club. Our aim is to provide the best environment and experiences for children in their early years of development. It is a complimentary program that promotes positive benefits designed for children aged 3-5 attending our service. We've incorporated the Yoga Program into our learning program and here are some of the key outcomes of Yoga for children.

The official time for playground supervision by most schools is 8.40 am. We provide safe, supervised care between the hours of 7.00 am and 8.30am, whereby children can be given breakfast and be actively engaged in activities and then safely transported to school before bell time. Providing safe, supervised care from 3.00pm to 5.30pm.

Our Vacation Care program is a supervised care and recreational holiday program including activities, excursions and theme days available during School Holidays and Pupil Free Days. Children are required to provide their own lunch, morning and afternoon tea as well as wet weather gear, swimmers, hats and sunscreen.
