Djinta Djinta Winery & De Vine Restaurant
Nestled in the Strzelecki ranges of South Gippsland, djinta djinta Winery is a 34 acre property in the heart of the Australian mainland's southernmost wine making region. The name djinta djinta - which is the indigenous name for the distinctive sound the Willy Wagtail makes, was adopted in 1991.

We are passionate about wine and set ourselves a high standard in both grape growing and winemaking and are proud of every bottle bearing our Willy Wagtail logo.Chosen for the quality of the brown and grey loam soils on east and north facing slopes, the vineyard produces the finest quality fruit without the aid of irrigation.
Services
The Grazing Room is located within the cellar door of djinta djinta Winery. It is a casual dining tasting room where a range of grazing boards and light meals are available to enjoy with a glass (or bottle) of wine. The Grazing Room is also a multifunction event space that can host your cocktail function - a Birthday celebration, an Engagement party, a Wedding reception or corporate product launch.
At djinta djinta Winery, each wedding couple receives exclusive use of the estate as part of a personalised package for their special day. The estate offers a large enclosed marquee, the deVine Reception venue, The Grazing Room, lakefront rotunda, outdoor fireplace and arbour. The deVine Reception venue is situated on the upper level in what was the property's original house.
Functions have become a trademark of the winery. Tailored to suit individual needs they are held in an ambience not to be forgotten. Weddings, conferences, meetings or any important occasion is catered for with elegance and professionalism. Whether it's a gathering for family and friends or a corporate/small business celebration, djinta djinta creates customized meals to suit your tastes and budget.

Dropped in unannounced for some wine tasting on a sunday morning and we had a great time, we enjoyed the wines and the views of the estate from the tasting room area are gorgeous.
had a good selection of both red and white wines (and some sparkling options), the food coming out on other tables looked amazing but we were heading off elsewhere for lunch, will have to return to try the food, definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area looking for a great winery tour stop!

Very welcoming host (the daughter of the owners) and quite a hidden gem. We had a grazing plate to share and tasted almost all the wines on offer and were pleasantly surprised. Would be a fantastic place to hold a function. Was a great way to end our long road trip!

FYI IF VISITING. Phone before to check if open!
Came here hoping to try and buy on Friday 20 April and gate shut and large sign says closed. Waited for 30 minutes until 11:30 and still shut. Website says open Friday at 11am. Disappointing as we heard it was good wine.
RE: Below reply- I would say it is highly practical to update opening times. Or at least state on your site that times change regularly, please call before to check actual opening dates/times. Otherwise why have a site at all really. We are in a digital age and common business practice is to keep all informed of the latest.
