My husband Andrew and I brought the vineyard in 2002 from our current neighbor Bob who planted the vine's in 1990. So with mixed emotions we left Melbourne and moved to Leongatha in 2005 - which is now very much our home town where we are raising our 2 children - Amelia 10 and Thomas 7. Life on the vineyard is very much about being part of rural community; it provides for our livelihood, it is the community where we live and how we live our life.
Andrew is a self-taught winemaker; he has a great palate, immense curiosity and passion to learn new things. His career very quickly sky rocketed from grape grower to winemaker. So we built the winery which now has become our cellar door and function center. The seasons are constantly changing, providing many vinicultural challenges each year.

Services
Planted on the outskirts of Leongatha overlooking Knox's Hill - a distinctive old volcano, the vineyard is planted on red volcanic soil (Ferrosols). The soils play an important role in the quality and characteristics of fruit grown. The red volcanic soil is very fertile and high in organic matter. The South Gippsland Climate is cool and affords to a long ripening period, ideal for the development of complex flavorsome Pinot Noir.

We went there for much because the other winery we want to go closed for renovations. Very limited menu. $18 to $25 for an 6 inch super think crust ham and cheese pizza. No kids menu no kids friendly food. 2 Labradors was making my kids really scared lunch time cuz they kept hovering around and under our table. Very limited seating. No substantial actual food. Get the platter coz the pizza will surely disappointed. The 4 kids 4 adults spent $125 in did and that was just entree level. So we bought the wine (it's ok but overpriced of what I think ) and quickly left. The interior of the dining area
