In fact, all of Dr. Edna's post graduate study has been on pediatric development, primitive reflexes, normal stages of growth, movement patterns and chiropractic techniques for babies. Dr. Edna will take a thorough history and make sure she understands what you want help with. Her exam will include observing movement and muscle tone, checking reflexes and noting which developmental milestones have been achieved.
Several of the observations and tests merely look like Dr. Edna is playing with the child, but there is a lot of information being gathered while she connects with your child through play. Any areas that need to be addressed will be explained to you during the first visit and your questions answered.

It might be torticollis or a preferred rotation of your baby's head, concerns with coordination or clumsiness or imbalances such as uneven shoulders or hips. Whatever your concern is for yourself or your child, the more information you can provide us, the better we can take care of you. My exam is designed to gather as much information about your body's balance as possible.

I cannot recommend Edna and Jeremy enough, both my husband and I suffer from back and neck pain and ocasional migraines, and Edna fixes us up with ease. Edna has also been treating our now 4 month old baby since he was born, being breached he had a few issues and Edna is so gentle and caring with him, he loves seeing her :-)
