Services
We know it's important for you to meet us before deciding to embark on orthodontic treatment. That's why we invite all our patients for an initial orthodontic consultation, so you can find out exactly how we can help you. Dr Lasni will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and our team will provide all of the information that you need to determine which treatment is right for you.
Dr Lasni is a qualified, specialist orthodontist who is passionate about orthodontics. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontics and is focussed on exploring new technologies and furthering her skills and knowledge by regularly attending professional development courses and conferences.
You will see them working alongside Dr Lasni, and the staff during your orthodontic treatment. Our Hygienists are involved in providing education on dental health, plaque control and how to look after your teeth, gums and orthodontic appliances. They work closely with Dr Lasni, to give you the very best treatment outcome possible.
Thinking of having braces? Then you are probably imagining a mouth full of metal, but advances in orthodontic technology mean the days of 'train tracks' are a thing of the past. Today, there are many different options when it comes to orthodontic treatment, but the traditional method of brackets and wires continues to be one of the most effective.
The Australian Society of Orthodontists recommends a child first sees an orthodontist at 7 years of age. This isn't necessarily when treatment will occur but it will give us a chance to assess the alignment of your child's jaw and teeth. With an understanding of your child's mouth, we can monitor their development.

I had a really good experience with Mysmile Miranda. Dr. Lasni and her team were really professional and caring. All the technicians were incredibly gentle and understanding, even in the case of an asthma attack during treatment. I couldn't be happier with the result after 1.5 years of treatment, wish I did it earlier!

I'm very impressed with staff service and care from all th staff including nurses administration team, technicians and Dr Lasni. We had appointments prior to starting treatment which helped my son feel confident about what was ahead for him. Treatment is now over and we are both very greatful for the support from th team.

My daughter just had a fabulous first consultation with the team at Mysmile Orthodontics in Miranda. Marie who did the initial consultation was knowledgeable and welcoming - particularly good at explaining what was happening to a nervous 12 year old. Dr Lasni was the height of professionalism and very clear on the realistic treatment options available. Overall, a great experience and start to the 2 year journey!!

I committed to a full Invisalign program with the mysmile team in Miranda and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From start to finish I was always well informed of each step of the process and I always felt at ease and well cared for when undergoing the various treatments along the way.
Special shout out to Emma who always made me feel welcome and valued. Her explanation and demonstration of how the Invisalign program works is what convinced me to sign up and I’m really glad I did.
I don’t live locally anymore but I would still drive all the way out here for any treatments

I am from Wollongong and searched for a great orthodontist and I found My Smile the best in price and value. I have been with them for a couple of years now, and find the staff are always friendly and very helpful, either on the phone or person to person. Most knowledgeable in everything they do.
