We will peruse the contract in order to see if it is appropriate and explain the contract to you. Advise you of any necessary amendments/ changes to the contract and negotiate the same with the vendor's solicitor. Arrange settlement with the Mortgagee including payment directions and delivery of Documents to Mortgagee on settlement.
Competent Legal advice is always recommended in order for a person to understand their legal rights and obligations and to work their way through the relevant law and court procedures which are constantly changing as evidenced by the many amendments to the Family Law Act and the court's rules since the Family Law Act was passed in 1975.
Because of this dual accountability it is recommended that you use a migration Lawyer instead of an agent. If you have been granted a spousal visa and you suffer Domestic Violence, Patricia can apply to the court for a Domestic Violence Order for you. This is needed by law if you wish to remain in Australia.
