I'm Kathryn and I work from my home office in Carine, Perth, using hypnosis and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) to help as many people as possible to overcome issues that are impacting their lives. Anyone who's ever tried to lose weight knows that diet is a four letter word for a reason. You feel motivated at the start but then you reach a point where your weight loss starts to plateau and it brings you down. Or perhaps there's an emotional upheaval in your life and its just too hard to stick to your plan.
According the a Australian Bureau of Statistics (2008), 1 in 5 men and 1 in 3 women will experience anxiety at some time in their life. It can take hold in many forms, including shortness of breath, a racing heart, sickness, IBS and an inability to think straight.

Worse still, it can start to infiltrate other parts of your life and previously inconsequential situations can become newly stressful, creating phobias, sleepless nights and panic attacks.If you suffer from anxiety it makes you feel constantly on edge. You spend a lot of time thinking about how situations will unfold and all of the possible scenarios that you could encounter.
For most people, exams create a sense of impending doom. You study hard for a number of years and it all comes down to those few hours of desperate recall and scrambling to try and prove just how much you know. Exam time is stressful. How do you know if you are well prepared? How do you know that the questions will be on the topics that you chose to concentrate on?
