Kinsmen was founded in 1985 by a group of leading businessmen in Adelaide to "pursue the strategic development of business opportunities in South Australia". Following product and geographic expansion, Kinsmen has capitalised on its strong finance and governance capabilities to become a well-established financial service provider with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The Kinsmen Board has on average over 20 year's experience in financial services, investment, structured finance, risk management, compliance and governance. Gary is a Non-Executive Director of Kinsmen.
In 2005, after 15 years as a consultant with global professional services firm KPMG including time as a Partner of the firm in London and the United States, Gary established Odyssey Capital Partners, a boutique corporate advisory and funds management business in Sydney.Gary is a responsible manager for Odyssey Capital and Odyssey Capital Funds Management Ltd.

At Kinsmen we have a decorated history of providing great investment opportunities to a wide range of investors. We offer a diversified range of products that suits many investors wants and needs. We provide a range of specialised loan investments for you to select from within our mortgage funds. Our mortgage funds are typically only available for wholesale investors.
Kinsmen leverages the extensive experience of its leadership team to identify, evaluate and manage lending opportunities, whilst matching these to the needs of investors. Our Mortgage Funds are either Pooled Funds or Contributory Funds (sometimes called Select). A Pooled Fund is where investors contribute funds to a single investment vehicle or "Pool".
Kinsmen structures property investments for retail and wholesale investors and joint venture partners. Our Property Funds typically focus on one class of asset e.g. Funds can also have a long term investment focus or a shorter term development focus and in some instances contain both. Our long term property ownership funds focus on yield and regular income distributions.
