I just recently had the Laundry Spa wash a thick blanket for me and sent them a few pieces for dry cleaning. The blanket came back still with cat fur on it, one of my skirts was still dirty and they completely refused to dry clean a dress. All together this cost over $60, overpriced and poor service. They never even contacted me to say that they couldn't do the dress, I just got it back with a note pinned through the fabric saying that it wasn't done. I will not be returning.

Was staying at a hotel in Melbourne and needed clothes washed and folded and shirts pressed. Had trouble finding a wash and fold nearby and the hotel bill would have been a couple hundred dollars. Laundry spa came and picked up the clothes from the concierge and dropped them off the next morning. A whole hotel laundry bag of clothes and two shirts for A$37.00. So easy and affordable.

Absolutely not surprised at the *1Star reviews on this company. Just wish I’d seen them prior to forking out $35 to have two items cleaned, it hadn’t been cleaned at all. It had a mark from using my partners antiperspirant and milk from a latte drip, both happening on the day I’d dropped it in. I didn’t have time to sort it as it’s linen which is why I’d sent it in. I was so surprised to see it, surely it’s not permanently there, I put some water on the end of my finger lowand behold it was gone. That’s when I realised it still had the creases from

Dropped off 3 pairs of ladies shorts to just be ironed in the morning. Lady said it would be ready in 30 mins, but I said I will come back after work. I get there at 5:45pm and I am told I need to wait 5 mins. I told them I am already in a rush and said I couldn't wait more than 5. It was obvious that they had forgotten about them, which made me annoyed because it meant that they would do a rushed job. After the 5 mins, the guy went to the back of the store and hid from me with the receipt so that I couldn't just leave (since I would have no proof that I dropped things off). After another 10 mins

Sent them a bunch of clothing when I arrived in Melbourne for a conference. I was going to send them a second load when I discovered that a garment was missing from my first order. I emailed them, which they didn't answer, and then had to call them. They were extremely unresponsive. Human mistakes can happen, but it is my strong impression that they haven't bothered to look for it. I will pay more to have the hotel's service do my second load but I won't be worried about getting everything back. Wish I could trust these people. I would not have held the mistake against

Worst laundry service ever. We are a family of five travelling Australia and dropped off 10 KG of laundry at the Laundry Spa. The question "everything together" should have been a good enough warning, but after a few good experiences elsewhere in the country i decided to let them give it a go, after making sure they would separate white and coloured stuff. When we inspected our supposedly clean laundry we found that we could instantly throw away 50% of the items they washed, 40% needs a rewash and only 10% can be worn without being arrested. How on earth can you make a seriously skid marked shorts

I'm so glad that I came across this place! I had a truly ridiculous amount of laundry to do, and decided to give in and find a service to do it. it was picked up and delivered promptly, and I was able to avoid spending all day running back and forth from my building's laundry room. It was also more affordable than I expected. I'll definitely be using them again the next time I let my laundry accumulate....

My husbands $550 Daniel Hechter suit was ripped yet the business owner still insisted I pay for the dry cleaning of a suit that had to be thrown out. When I left the shop I looked at the receipt and had been charged double the quoted amount. I've never written a negative review for any service, restaurant, business before as I was taught if "You don't have anything nice to say...." but this was the worst experience I've had concerning a service provider. Ever.

Our hotel wanted to charge us $400 to do our laundry, so we went looking for alternatives. Laundry Spa was less than a mile away, and the staff there were friendly and helped us use their machines to do our laundry. It took 28 minutes for the wash ($7) and 40 minutes to dry ($5, or $1 per 8 minutes), and that was for a week's amount of clothes for two people. They also sell detergent and snacks/drinks in a vending machine. I wanted some silk dresses with drink stains dry cleaned which they told me shouldn't be a problem. Got them back with zero improvement on the stains. They did try a second time but still no change. I asked for a refund which they refused as they had "tried everything". I eventually argued with the boss long enough to get him to agree to a refund if I dry cleaned them elsewhere and the stains were removed.
I immediately went to another dry cleaner and in less than 24 hours picked them up and all stains were gone. I went back to laundry spa to claim

After they ruined my towels and sheets with bleach I vowed never to send anything to them again. I however decided to send my new jacket after a few months and they ruined it. When I went back in to show them and to ask what they did to it they asked to see the label.
I said I know what the label says but what did you do to it. They replied they put in the dryer despite the label saying DO NOT PUT IN DRYER. They promised to refund me the money for my coat but then a few days later they refused to refund me the money and even refused to refund me the $15 it cost for them to ruin it.

THEY PICK UP AND DELIVER FOR FREE. Awesome. Their prices are surprisingly competitive too. Their service is incredible - if you're in an office building, the driver calls you as he's getting near so you can come down and meet him. Sadly I don't work in the CBD anymore and they don't service Fitzroy.
