Leo St Automotives

We have ceased operating in fawkner in 2000 - so I don't understand the reviews after that date also looking up the names on my data base these people have never been to Leo St Automotives.

Really dodgy. Just stay away folks. Had numerous bad experiences here, the last straw was when our car broke down literally 2 days after having it serviced here, it was towed to another mechanic who couldn't believe the "shoddy" work that had been done by these guys.

Absolute RIP OFFS, they say the whole thing needs replacing when only a cheap part is required (tried to charge me $300 for a set claiming the part didnt come individually, the part was less than $30 and got it done else where without needing to "buy the whole kit"), tried to charge me over $100 for headlight alignment (which I had just got done less than 3 months ago - I have a old car with headlight you adjust with screws.......... they purposefully moved them outta place I couldn't believe it... I realigned them myself) absolutely shameful and COMPLETE SEXISTS. Lucky im a girl who knows her

Yeh, NAH.
They rip people off, they pull the whole "you need to replace the whole thing" when only a part needs replacing, or doesn't need replacing at all, they take advantage if your female and probably if your someone they judge as "clueless" when it comes to cars. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY MECHANIC, I would definitely look elsewhere and not waste your money or time with this dodgy place.
I would give zero stars if I could...

WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! I called to get a simple Diagnostic test on my car which is $14 at Supercheap Auto. Guy on the phone said $120, I asked him the difference and he said his machine cost alot.

Great and honest mechanic. I always come to him even tho he may be an hour away from me.

Got my service done by Garry , bit pricey then the market rate specially if you are a professional owner driver . Very disappointed with the rest of the work , he changed brakes that are squeeking ever since and the vibrating sound that he investigated and fixed apperently have only worsened . Went back to him the next day and he reckons it's running fine and it's waste of his time to put it on the hose . Extremely dissatisfied with service , prices and would advice everyone to stay away .

Very good service if a bit on the dear side but it is worth it as he always does a good job and lets you know what might be needed in the future. He is not greedy and he is consistent. We always go to him as every thing is good.

Good professional service. Price slightly higher than the old place I used to go to but at least the service was done properly and on time. Garry also spends time explaining to you what he has done instead of just taking the money ;-)
