Established in 2010, Pilgrim Sailing, operated by Paul & Clare Ley, hosts over 2000 happy guests every year. A luxurious, comfortable, well-maintained and well-presented yacht, which makes you feel special while on board. Paul has been working in the marine industry for over 20 years and holds the following commercial maritime tickets (Master 5, MED 3 and RYA Yachtmaster with commercial endorsement).

For larger group bookings (8 guests or more), we recommend our Private Day Charter option. Online bookings close at 8pm the day before a cruise. Please send a text to 0424296406 if you wish to book a tour on the day or for the following day (if after 8pm). Two options for wine glasses - we will provide disposable biocups or you can purchase** one of our quality branded "glasses" for use on board and to take away as a souvenir.

The Beach Club Magnetic Island's most popular option. Chauffeured boat transfers to a beautiful secluded beach for a gourmet picnic, complete with a giant picnic rug and umbrella. We provide the boat and the skipper and you decide the rest. There are so many options - circumnavigate the island exploring nooks and crannies or go chasing waterfalls or just arrange to be picked up from one of the bays after a hike.

Fantastic experience sailing around Magnetic Island with our fabulous hosts Clayton and Georgia. Nothing was too much trouble, from steering the yacht to the delicious seafod lunch and of course a few beverages. It was a great experience for our family and one we would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking about doing it.

Brilliant from beginning to end. We had the best time and Bridie and Clayton helped us to relive some great memories. I love sunset cruises but what made this really special is that it is a small group. Others get as many as they can in a sail and the it is not comfortable. Small group = great personalised service without… feeling that you are too close too other guests. Beautiful platters, the best I have had on a sunset cruise. I also had my eight year old daughter with us and the crew made her feel special and comfortable with every aspect of our trip. This is better than any other sunset cruise I have been on. Would recommend to anybody. Absolutely fantastic!!!

We were warned before leaving that it might be "adventurous", but despite the strong winds and large swell Pilgrim handled conditions well. Clayton kept us moving at about 9 knots for most of the time, while Bridie did an excellent job of keeping our bubbles filled, even at nearly 45 degrees. All the guests (except possibly the guy who spent a lot of time hanging over the rail) had a wonderful time. Even though cloudy, the sunset was spectacular. Thanks Clare, Paul, Clayton, and Bridie.

A sunset sail on the Pilgrim is an absolute must-do on any visit to Maggie. We have sailed twice with Clare and Paul and have invited friends to join us on our next sail. A beautiful vessel, generous and professional hosts, delicious cheese platters featuring local produce accompanied by refreshing organic wines and local beers. All of this with magnificent sunset views while enjoying the peace of sailing. An absolute highlight of our visits to Maggie!
