Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine delivered by gentle treatment techniques such as manipulation, massage, mobilisation, stretching and trigger point therapy. Osteopaths use a holistic approach to health and treating the body. This means when assessing your symptoms and diagnosing your injury they look at the body as a whole, taking into account that the body is an integrated unit of functions and structures.
Pilates is an exercise method that includes both physical and mental conditioning to improve physical strength, flexibility and coordination. It particularly focuses on core control, spinal mobility and support as well as alignment and control of the limbs during movement, all of which play a role in prevention of injury and improving posture.
Due to the second lockdown in Metro Melbourne we have paused our small group clinical pilates classes. We pride ourselves on developing individualised programs for our patients to assist with their musculoskeletal health and can assist you with a home program if needed. We will be releasing new at home sessions on YouTube, which you can complete in the comfort of your own home.

I've had back and leg pain for a long as I can remember. I've had various treatments, but I chose to see Dan because of his experience in elite sports (that and he is up the road!). Nobody has identified my weaknesses in the first session like Dan did, and then set a course of treatment and rehab to manage it. I've told everyone who cares to listen, and this review only sings half of his praises. I'm running again and I'm confident I can manage this long term with his direction.
