Foot & Ankle Rehabilitation Australia
We are passionate about feet! We strive to provide you with the best quality health care to maximise the outcome for your problem. We treat every patient with respect and as an individual, analysing each situation and tailoring each patient's treatment programme. We recognize that it's just as important for some of our patients to conquer the walk to the corner shop, as it is for others to complete a 3 hour marathon.

Foot and Ankle Rehabilitation Australia has five Melbourne locations for your convenience, all with disabled access and convenient patient parking. We look forward to discussing your problem and treatment plan, and to providing you with exceptional quality rehabilitation. Our clinic director, Stuart Imer, was invited by our international partners AT Health in Beijing.
Services
Our Director Stuart Imer began providing Foot & Ankle Physiotherapy in surgical clinics in 1999. Foot and Ankle Rehabilitation Australia evolved from there. Our Geelong practice is located at Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre, the region's most respected multi-disciplinary sports medical facility. In Brighton, consulting alongside orthopaedic surgeon, Mr. Keith Winters, we are located at 159 Church St as well as Suite 4, 214 Bay St.
Foot & Ankle Rehabilitation Australia's Physiotherapists are experts in rehabilitation of the foot, ankle and lower limb. Often these injuries affect other areas of the body. Integrating your injury management and rehabilitation with any previous injury problems is critical in the recovery pathway.
Recovering from Foot and Ankle injury or surgery is a difficult time for our patients. Loss of independence (for instance driving) and challenges to mobility, make this a trying time for the patient, and is also taxing on their family. We provide treatment that maximizes your independence as early as possible, creating the greatest recovery in the quickest time frame, within the constraints of protecting your healing requirements.
Exercise Physiology is designed for the rehabilitation of any lower limb injury and condition by building strength and stability. These sessions build power, speed, agility and confidence while preventing re-injury. This is ideal for post-operative rehabilitation, returning to sport, preventing re-injury and athletic training.
SMS confirmations of appointments are sent the day before your appointment. If you haven't done so already, please ensure you provide reception staff with your mobile phone number so that you will receive these confirmations. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment time, please call the clinic no later to the day prior to your appointment, to avoid a cancellation fee.
