The factory fitted trans coolers to D3 don't seem to be man enough for the job. For this reason we have been fitting xl trans coolers to D3's that often tow heavy loads (large caravans, horse floats etc). Keeping the trans oil cool assists with extending the life of the oil and smoother shifts under heavy load, resulting in longivity to the auto trans, and less frequent oil changes, saving $$'s in the long run.

Update now my service has been completed. I was very impressed as it was a very thorough service, Brendan knows his Land Rovers and takes the time to explain everything to you, especially why certain work needs to be carried out. I will be back and have already recommended the service to a RR friend.
Original post: Spoken to the service centre on the phone, very professional with a call back and they really know their LR stuff. My RR Sport is booked in for a service later this month so will update my review accordingly.

If you own a Land Rover, don't bother looking anywhere else for service and repairs. The knowledge and reliablibility has been fantastic and unmatched by anyone in Adelaide. Brendan has a great technical working knowledge especially on early Defenders. I always send my defender here for major and minor work and have always been impressed with the work carried out. Highly recommend for all Land Rover owners. Very transparent in operation and always explains the work carried out.

I took my Discovery 2 for some needed repairs and found them terrific. They were very experienced and diagnosed my issues efficiently and did the repairs that were required. I would highly recommend them for any landrover repairs and I have now found a reputable landrover mechanic which I will continue to give my business.
