There are several visa options that allows your business to sponsor overseas skilled workers to work in Australia. Subclass 482 visa is the most commonly used visa program to sponsor foreign workers to fill skilled positions in Australia on a temporary basis. The application process includes three stages:.
Partner visas facilitate entry into and/or the right to remain in Australia if you are married to, or in a de facto relationship with an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen and are sponsored by their spouse or de facto partner for a visa. Step 2: Permanent Residence visa - generally you can apply for this step after 2 years after the lodgement of step 1.
Student (Temporary) Subclass 500 visa is intended for: overseas students (including school students) who wish to undertake a full-time registered course of study in Australia. You need to ensure your Australia Education Provider is registered under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act. To make a valid Student visa application, you must have been offered a place in a full time course of study.
The General Skilled Migration (GSM) scheme is a skilled visa program which does not require employer sponsorship and aims at attracting young, skilled and qualified migrants with a wide range of abilities who will contribute to the Australian economy.

The Visitor visa program allows you entry to Australia wanting to undertake temporary and non-work related activities. This could include visiting friends and/or family, tourist activities or participating in an organised tour group. The visa subclass determines the type of Visitor visa and the eligibility stream determines the purpose for the visit under that visa.

I struggled to understand the migration system in Australia. Luckily, Fernandes helped take me from 457 visa all the way to citizenship, without a hassle.
