Services
Bruce Tomlinson, an Architect and town planner by profession was working on a sub-division of the Moss Wood Property when Bill Pannell, happened to comment on the virtue of the soil and site that had just been sub-divided. The lure of owning vineyards and producing wines in Margaret River was too powerful for Bruce to ignore, and although originally planned as a sea change rather than a career move he quickly found himself immersed in the task.
Lenton Brae is a small family owned Margaret River wine producer that consists of a dedicated team. In addition to the faces below, as a hand harvested estate we welcome backpackers from all over the world to assist us during the busy and exciting harvest period from February to April.

Hailing from Dunsborough, Russ worked 10 vintages in the Wilyabrup region before bringing his 'wine whispering' talents to Lenton Brae where he became full time in 2012.Russ ensures that the day to day management of the vineyard runs smoothly, is an all round handyman for the estate and can be found front and centre during vintage time.
Celebrating 35 consecutive vintages of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Lenton Brae can justifiably claim to be one of Margaret River's leading exponents of this Margaret River hero. New variety for Margaret River and exclusive to Lenton Brae. Aromatics of citrus blossom, green apple with a hint of spice leads to a mouth filling palate of depth and persistence.

Delicious and well-priced wines!! Free tastings. Very nice SSB, Pinot Blanc, Can Sauv, and Late Harvests. Beautifully-revamped winery with stacks of space and lots of games such as Finska, Giant Jenga, several totem tennis and table tennis tables!

Definitely a must visit. A bit of a hidden gem producing some fine wines. The cellar door manager (Nadia I think) made us feel at home and we were also greeted by her very excited dog. Really made it feel like we're at her home. The wines itself are of fantastic quality. The late harvest wines are certainly a standout. Can't wait to return.

We arrived at Lenton Brae this afternoon and the cellar door was open. We sat in the cellar door for ~15 minutes, rang the bell and called out but no one was around. A real shame seems we planned on buying a few cases of the late harvest.

Had a chance to do some wine tasting. The lady there was a kind happy soul. Very down to earth relaxed environment. Nothing pretentious. We have had the pleasure of going down to the cellars for a one on one guided tour. The Cabernet merlot was good but if you have a sweet tooth like me then late harvest might be your glass of wine 🍷

The owners mum mans the cellar door, she is loveliest las with a wealth of knowledge. Even has a cheeky one during the tasting - she got me good for a bottle though. But the quality of these wines speak for themselves. Will have to start ordering by the case online to fuel my solution.
