NOVA Cruises vessel "Bay Connections 1" is a 16 metre fibreglass semi-hydrofoil planing catamaran. Constructed in South Africa, and fitted out in Fremantle Western Australia, the vessel was designed to operate in waters up to 300 nautical miles from the coastline. Having been constructed to this standard the vessel is extremely stable and offers a remarkably comfortable cruising experience.

The Historic Morpeth cruise was such an enjoyable day out. The amazing staff provided informative commentary and delightful hosting. So professional on every level. For all the times I have driven over the Hexham Bridge, to actually see the traffic stop and the bridge lift was fascinating.

In light of the COVID pandemic I felt that the cruise (lunch) was overbooked and the tables were cramped together. We sat near the bar and whilst eating we were bumped by people trying to get their tea and coffee located in the corner behind our table. Also we did not have time to have seconds on the food buffet as we were the last to be served. Overall we felt that the experience was not a pleasant one. Tina Somerville. Simply perfect; there was some event on in newcastle making parking a nightmare with an hour trying to get a parking spot. Was a few minutes late and they waited which we are grateful of them doing so. If your after a decent feed, respectful drink pricing that isn't over the top but just right for a restaurant I would happily recommend and the lunch cruise also includes a bit of newcastle history and sights.

A great 2.5 hour trip around Newcastle harbour with lunch, and a wet bar.
A club outing that had been put off for a year due to covid, so while it was overcast and raining off and on, we had a great time. Smiling happy crew with great historical stories of the sights we passed while we ate and drank in comfort. A most enjoyable trip.

I was showing on the Nova cruise boat and I got to take some photos the boat it is well sit up I met the captain and he showed me around after cruising up the river for about 20 minutes we were given lunch there was lots of prawns and ham and salads and it was quite nice really enjoyed the mail and there was plenty of it I even went back for seconds I thank the staff and the captain for looking after us so well and showing us a nice time the cruise went for around about 2 .1/2 hours and I would recommend it to anybody to come and have a cruise have a look around Newcastle and learn a little bit
