Most pathology tests automatically qualify for a Medicare rebate; however, for some tests, Medicare requires that the patient satisfy certain clinical criteria before the rebate applies, or limits the frequency of testing, or both. The Transfusion Medicine Services team at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) provides transfusion medicine consultancy services covering patient care, transfusion adverse events, blood product information and appropriate use, hospital inventory management, advice on consent and risk, and other useful information.

I’m highly disappointed by the Covid testing staff at this drive-through site. The worst I have experienced as someone who is tested regularly due to the industry I work in. Being polite can go a long way. We are all going through unprecedented times, and if you’ve had a bad day, that’s ok! We all do. However, I recommend conducting yourself with professionalism at all times and if you cannot accommodate for more people to get tested, simply say so with compassion and reason. A simple “ not serving you” through the car window is unacceptable.

I was just there about 1:07 n after waiting not too long I was next in line to go in the tent, but I had to wait as what looked like a nurse came from some where away from the testing tent stood in front of my car with no mask. Blocking my entry to the tent. She walked into the tent n got some stuff from below the table I think some masks but could not tell. She was there for about 4 min. She spoke to the nurses while she was there. I could not hear them but it looked like no one told her she should not be there with out a mask. The whole time she was there she did not have a mask or any other
