During the current Victorian Government restrictions we are limited to only treating urgent cases. Direct clinical care (and other clinical support activity necessary to support direct clinical care) that prevents a significant change/deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care OR is required as an adjunct to other urgent medical/surgical interventions.
At Longbeach Osteopathy we focus on the treatment and prevention of a wide range of musculo-skeletal problems from chronic postural or work related injuries to acute sports injuries. We will take a full and detailed history and examination to not only address the injury but also the underlying factors that may be the cause of the injury.

Services
Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that has been widely used since the late 1880's. It is based heavily upon unique biomechanical principles. Osteopathy focuses on the treatment of joints, muscles, ligaments and other connective tissues with a wide variety of "hands-on" techniques. Because osteopathy uses a holistic approach, the aim isn't to just treat the problem but also to find and treat the cause.
At Longbeach Osteopathy, all our osteopaths are statutorily registered practitioners and have completed five years of full-time university training at Masters degree level. As well as the initial training, we are constantly undertaking further studies to ensure that we will always provide the best possible service with the most current approaches.

Orthotics are a thing that everyone thinks about for their children but avoids because of the cost and service. That’s not what you get here with James. I could not praise this superstar enough. Reasonably priced and goes out of his way on every visit. Do not look anywhere else people, this guy knows his stuff. Thanks James.

Great and friendly qualified practitioners. Dr Kinross has been able to effectively treat and manage an old injury in my pelvis. Open and honest diagnosis and prognosis of injury, not a ‘here’s script to manage pain and come back next week’ service. Also highly recommend their dry needling service! Worked a treat almost immediately, not having to come back for weeks of repeat treatment instead for the same result.

A friend went there with scans showing a prolapse disk. They said it was an old injury not sciatica and they can fix it. After 10 visits he realised that they didn't know what they were talking about when the pain just got worse. After visiting the doctor again he was referred to a neurosurgeon and he ended up needing surgery. Always check with you GP first as they are the real doctors.
