ICEM - International Centre for Environmental Management is an award-winning independent technical service centre that assists government, private sector and communities to define and implement policies for sustainable development.

Established in 1999, ICEM is staffed by full-time international and national technical and administrative personnel and operates through a core of specialists in climate change, biodiversity conservation, water resources management, strategic environmental assessment, disaster risk reduction and environmental and social economics.
ICEM is established as an international leader in climate change impact assessment, adaptation and mitigation planning. Advanced climate, hydrological, hydrodynamic and integrated assessment modelling, GIS analysis and economic valuation tools have been specifically designed and proven in the region as part of our climate change adaptation and mitigation methodology.
Climate change modeling: Developing assessments and predictions on the impacts of climate change, based on variable factors and inter-connected sectors. Providing policy recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Environmental impact assessment: Developing and implementing systems for strategic environmental assessment and EIA and in the conduct, piloting and demonstration of specific SEAs and EIAs.
ICEM works throughout South East Asia and the Mekong Region, including Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Our work covers the Pacific Island nations of Fiji, Marshall Islands, Palau, Solomon Islands and Timor Leste. We also have extensive program experience in Nepal and have recently expanded our portfolio to include Mongolia, Bhutan and Kyrgyzstan.
ICEM - the International Centre for Environment Management was established in 1999 to help governments and communities build capacity in the sustainable use of natural resources and maintenance of environmental quality. ICEM works in Asia, especially the Mekong countries, and focuses on climate change, water resources, biodiversity conservation and integrated assessments.
