Danny Hill is an experienced business owner who grew his business from being a taxi driver to now running a fleet of Maxi-Taxis. Not satisfied with the level of service he was receiving from other mechanical workshops, Danny took the bit between his teeth and started his own workshop at Capalaba, initially servicing his own fleet.
Word soon spread through the taxi community of the fast turn around times and in-depth knowledge of his mechanics and his team was soon servicing over 200 of the South East Queensland taxis (and growing!). In 2015, demand was so strong, Danny moved his team to a much larger workshop at Mansfield where the 10 hoists are kept busy, 7 days a week.

Got into these guys through AutoGuru. Was a good experience overall. We went there after looking at good reviews and they lived up to those reviews. We initially went to Mycar (Kmart Auto). They quoted $490 saying rear brake drums and shoes needed replacing. We decided to buy the parts ourselves and ended up asking Bosch car service to install the parts for us. They were honest enough to come back and advise the rear shoes and drums had plenty of life left in them, especially the drums being near new (as I suspected was the case). Kmart Auto are going to receive a huge complaint for trying to take

Took wife's car there for a log book service, got a quote and went ahead. Log book suggested we change the spark plugs. Very kind to fit me in on the day with no booking as well. went to collect the car and was advised the spark plugs didnt need changing, so there was no charge. Honest people running an honest business. highly recommended.

A very pleasant experience e. Professional to deal with and fast. The mechanics were keen to help and did an excellent job. The fact that it's open all weekend without any extra charge is awesome and very convenient. They do a lot of taxis which is probably why they are so focussed on quick turnaround times and getting it right the first time. The cost is also well under what I've been quoted elsewhere.
