Between them they have close to 45 years' experience in law enforcement, prosecution and criminal defence work. The only work we accept is criminal law, traffic law, or work that is closely connected to those areas.
Before joining J Sutton Associates, Andrew was the principal of his own firm and prior to that was a director of a national law firm. We know, and understand, that you will be facing, probably, one of the most challenging events of your life when dealing with an investigation or prosecution. We know you will want to feel as confident and comfortable as you possibly can with your legal representation. You will want to know the person and firm you retain has the knowledge, experience and capacity to devote to your matter with a view to achieving the best possible result.
Whilst the people in the court room are speaking English, it may appear to those unfamiliar with the process and characters that an entirely different language is being spoken. And yet, the essence of the process is very simple, it's just the execution of the process that is difficult.

When you go to court, as a defendant you need to understand precisely what you have been charged with and the consequences that can flow from a guilty or not guilty plea.Have you read the law on the subject, do you know what the particular Act and section say about this offence? Do you know what sentencing options are available to the court?
Most people sentenced for a criminal offence want to explain to the court how sorry they are. A well-crafted apology letter can make an enormous difference to the sentence you receive. Anyone can say they are sorry. An effective letter of apology should explain why you are sorry. You may wish to reflect upon the consequence of your offending, both for yourself and for others.

I just bought my first home with the help of Jerome LaPorte from Property Guide Toronto. He gave me excellent information and advice every step of the way and lent me his discerning eye when I wasn't aware of what I was looking at or for. I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and we got a great deal in a great neighborhood.
I will definitely be working with Property Guide Toronto again should I decide to sell in the future. Their agents are professional, kind and offer the type of customer services you can rarely find anymore. The website is also a great tool for reading up about Toronto neighborhoods
