MG Jewellery Designs is a family run and owned business established by Michael Glendenning. His team of dedicated jewellers draws on over a hundred years of jewellery industry experience to craft the latest most elegant jewellery to suit any occasion, dress and personal taste. Established in 2008, MG Jewellery Designs was formed with a vision of delivering custom Jewellery to the end user.
MG Jewellery Designs prides itself on using a combination of traditional hand crafting and finishing techniques alongside modern jewellery manufacturing methods. A computer program called "Matrix" is used to design jewellery in 3D. This allows for our craftsmen to design an item like a diamond ring in 3D and then render the image so that the customer can see how the finished product will look.
Most of the jewellery designed and manufactured by our company is 'made to order' as per our client's specifications. Since every piece is customized to your specifications it is unique, which does lead to some interesting pricing differences. However, before purchasing any piece of jewellery from us there are a few important points you should consider.
People are strongly advised to get their jewellery checked on a regular basis for safety catches, security settings and wear. At MG Jewellery we provide our clients with complimentary ring cleaning service, as well as examine your jewellery for wear and tear absolutely free. A few minor repairs will save you from a big loss of precious stones later on.
Many people own a piece of jewellery that they do not wear and so for them we await the opportunity to transform their precious piece of outdated jewellery into the latest work of art. Our expert jewellery designers use an array of traditional and new methods to transform old pieces of jewellery into fine jewellery that you'll continue to wear for the next few decades.

We visited Michael for a consultation on two rings that we had purchased from elsewhere, and he was able to provide extremely helpful expert advice. On this occasion we did not need to use his repair services, but I will 100% be trusting Michael with any future jewellery repairs or modifications we may need.

I inherited two of my mothers rings after she passed and due to the difference in our ring size wanted to not only make a ring the fit me but also blended the two rings together so I could where it daily. Michael went over and beyond, the process was simple and we bounced designs off each other - he wanted to ensure I was comfortable before going live. The result was better than I ever expected, excellent pricing and an insurance evaluation stating exact design and imagery just in case. I couldn't have asked for anything better even with COVID-19!!

After recommendations from our daughter who had her engagement and wedding rings made by Michael. We decided to give Michael a try to repair my wedding/engagement rings.
We can HIGHLY recommend Michael and the team who repaired my rings. I lost a diamond out of my engagement ring which was over 45 years old. After speaking with him, and my husband… suggesting maybe replacing the main diamond with a larger one (not the one that was lost) we decided to go ahead with the repair.
Well worth it. Know where I will be taking all my jewellery work to from now on. So happy with the job he done. Do

Michael prepared the rings for our wedding and we could not recommend him any higher. He took some ideas we provided and turned them into works of art. Wanted an engagement ring custom made and looked around a few places but Michael was head and shoulders above the rest. Very professional, excellent customer service and great attention to detail. I was able to go in and look at multiple diamonds, Michael gave his expert advice on each one and helped me choose the best one. He produced an awesome ring, exactly what I wanted in a quick timeframe. Would definitely recommend him if you want a quality ring made.

I couldn't recommend Michael enough! From the first moment I met with Michael to picking up my rings, everything went so smoothly. Michael truly has a passion for what he does and he goes above and beyond to ensure your vision becomes a reality. My partner and I came to Michael with the intentions of designing an engagement ring which reflected us… and our personality. Michael was so incredibly accommodating and worked through everything with us to ensure the ring was perfect.
