Extremely disappointed High Tea experience. Expectations were not met on a number of occasions, however first impressions and experiences always stay with us. On arrival the booking took awhile to sort and after being shown to our table, the table was not set up for the right amount of people. I was shocked to be poured Tea from a communal Large Stainless Steel Teapot shared around the Room from table to table with Tea Bags inside with no choice of Tea. I can not understand how this Company promotes itself as providing High Tea without the obvious, really no " Tea Leaves "and individual Tea Pot

We had a guided tour and high tea, it was wonderful to learn about both the family who built it and the one who looks after it with such love and respect. The grounds are magnificent. The high tea was fabulous with great food and selection, I especially enjoyed the 3 different flavours of scones. Service was impeccable. We will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

We went for the high tea today, when we arrived I advised the staff that it was my Nan’s 89th birthday asked if they could use some candles I brought to put on the sweets in the high tea to sing happy birthday.… The staff went absolutely above and beyond, they had a panna cotta separately plated with berries and the candle brought over to her singing Happy Birthday. The staff then gave her some chocolates to take home as a birthday present. All staff wished her a happy birthday at the end as well.
