I Booked to stay here with my girlfriend on the long weekend of the Queens Birthday public holiday. Travelled all the way via DI (beach driving, the highlight of the trip) to check in after 3pm. Upon arrival I received the news nobody even thinks of... there has been a mistake and there is no room available. My booking was confirmed the day before by Flight Centre and paid in full. I was simply told that they don't take bookings through them anymore, yet there I was with a confirmation receipt from FC. There was no effort made by the manager/staff of Rainbow Ocean Palms to make it a priority to

Staff generally rude and unhelpful, and disinterested.
The balcony was filthy, and when I raised the issue the staff were dismissive and just said "sorry".
The balcony table had ash and sand all over it, and on the balcony floor, which meant every time we walked in we would bring in ash and sand into the apartment.

Stayed for a couple of nights and was really impressed with the cleanliness and the beauty of the place.
The host was very helpful and only too keen to help …. I had an issue with some young clowns playing up and making a bit of noise which he must have solved because they went quiet after I complained …. Family’s need sleep as well …. Anyway, great couple of nights stay, great setting, great facility’s and great hosts …. 5 STAR for mine

Just had the best stay in Apartment 8 for a long weekend. Well laid out apartment to suit large family. Felt like a home away from home. Amazing views out to Fraser Island and the waterfall pool. Excellent amenities. Short drive into town and right beside carlo sandblow (10 min forest walk) for amazing sunrises/sunsets. A must stay in Rainbow.

One word for our experience....stunning!!! Beautiful views with excellent rooms and amenities. Pool was clean and well maintained together with the grounds and gardens. The BBQ on our outdoor area made cooking really easy. The restaurants and cafes around the small town had great service and awesome food. Joe and Anna were great hosts, an all round amazing experience, thank you ☺️

A little pricey but well worth the splurge. You are only 3 minutes from the beach. Would stay here again easily. Fantastic service. 1 minute walk to the Carlo Point Sand Blow entrance as well so you can do two of the must do things in Rainbow beach! Easy walk through the forest for the beautiful sunset that awaits you! See images for the sand blow and our room.
Also 32 minutes from the Tin Can bay dolphins at Barnacles Dolphin Centre. Feed the dolphins for $10! Be there at 6:45am to be sure to feed them by hand 😍
