The Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457) allows skilled workers to come to Australia and work for an approved business for up to four years. You must be sponsored by an approved business. A business can sponsor someone for this visa if they cannot find an Australian citizen or permanent resident to do the skilled work.

I am waiting on a contract to be drawn up for private purchase the seller is using this company we have both been waiting 4 weeks. Instead of telling him everything he needed first time round he keeps getting told he needs more documentation. When he finally dropped in final documentation solicitor was on holidays and contract still not able to be done. Not happy with the incompetence of this company when I am in a hurry to purchase this house as I have moved from Brisbane currently staying in my caravan until settlement
