The 189 visa is a skilled Independent visa, whereas the 190 visa requires nomination by an Australian State or Territory. As a result, there are additional requirements you need to meet for the 190 visa, and these are different based on the State/Territory you choose. Many of these requirements include studying/working in the State/Territory for a certain period, and demonstrating a commitment to the State/Territory.
Graduate work stream is a temporary visa particularly for international graduate who have completed skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations in Australia needs. This visa enables you to stay up to 18 months and within that period, you can live, study and work in Australia and you can include your family member in your application.
The upcoming 491 and 494 visas will require visa holders to live and work in regional Australia. Options include having a relative sponsor, being nominated by an employer, or being assessed under the points test. If your skills assessment is based on an Australian qualification while holding a student visa, that qualification must have been CRICOS registered.
This visa allows a child to stay in Australia permanently and live with their parents. If your child is currently outside Australia, you should apply for subclass 101 whereas onshore applicant should apply for subclass 802. We engaged Aussie Immigration Services a couple of weeks ago and found that they are very efficient in providing excellent customer service and honest about cost and charges upfront. There are no hidden costs which we are not aware of.
