The room was lovely but dated. Bed super uncomfortable, bathroom window broken and banging with all the wind, toaster also not working properly.
It's about 6kms out of town, so not ideal location but the gardens and grounds were stunning!
We were very surprised to have been told to wash our own dishes or incur a $40 fee! When you're paying $560 for 2 nights I think that was a bit of a cheek!! We're away on holidays, last thing anyone wants to do on holidays is dishes....

Unfortunately our night was not the best. The owner was very friendly and the cottage was clean but very cold with no personal touches. The spa bath was basically useless as it took over 2 hours to fill due to no water pressure and the bed was extremely uncomfortable with a cigarette burn in the sheets.
The property has also seen better days. Only dissapointed as it dampened a special night and for the price was not the best. But the goats are great!!!!

I simply cannot speak highly enough of this place. Casey is lovely, she makes you feel right at home. The sanctuary is so beautiful, peaceful, cute, secluded and quant. I come from the UK so took me right back to the feeling of life in a cute farm Cottage. A romantic getaway in the loft with but now's running about :) we will definitely be back - simply did not want to leave.

Stayed in the loft. Was nice and clean. Heater was on when we arrived. Wood was supplied for the fire place and we were surprised to recieve a fresh loaf of bread and a litre of milk. There was goats to feed and a small lake with a little jetty and bbq area close by. Over all was well worth the visit

We paid $490 for two nights mid week. We took the loft cottage that has the spa. Great couples accommodation as the whole place is open plan. Fire was great. Very warm. Everything worked. Radio and heater were on when we arrived. The floorboards have amusing and loud squeaks. Loads of wildlife around - the birds on the roof will keep you amused in the early morning. Washers in the taps in the shower could do with replacing.

An amazing place to stay to relax in peace & quiet with nothing spared to make your stay totally comfortable with a rustic style done to perfection, the Loft cabin we loved so much we stayed a second night & didn't go anywhere else its that good. featuring an amazing spa bath & a very comfortable four poster bed that you don't want to get out of, nothing spared including washing machine & clothes dryer with detergent. wood log fire in the lounge with a large supply of wood to keep it going, stove/oven fridge & reverse cycle split system air conditioner. no money has been spared here at the Healesville
