Filthy, unhygienic and very poor accountability. Ridiculously priced and even tried to turn it on the customer when the rat and mice droppings, dead insects, old residue in fridge are not something l would carry around with me. Appalling and non deserving of anyone staying there as it promotes 5 stars. Stay away!

My fiancé Alison and I stayed in the Candlewick cottage, it was a 50th birthday getaway and it was everything you’d hope for. As soon as we opened the door Alison didn’t want to leave. We’ll be back, already booking for same time next year. Thanks Observatory Cottages couldn’t of had a better weekend.

Nice little cottage, comfortable and the GAS wood heater is amazing. Fantastic to have a TV with Netflix etc for those nights or afternoons where you and your partner just want to relax together and watch something.
Good provisions left in the fridge.
Couch and bed were comfortable.
Loved the birds coming to perch in the morning outside on the front porch.
Cottages are also close to main shops etc
Only criticism would be that the cottage could do with some dusting in areas that I'm guessing cleaners don't normally check. For example on top of the microwave.

Absolutely fantastic! Everything you could possibly need is there at the cottage. Really nicely appointed with lots of personal touches. 4 bedrooms on 3 levels meant so much room for the family to spread out. Weather was terrible during our stay which meant we appreciated the cottage and its amenities even more. A fabulous stay and would love to come back again.

Wind song cottage was a dream. A charming room with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and they supply fresh bread, butter, spreads, bacon, eggs, water, juice, and most importantly wine and lindt chocolate. Good wine too. There's an intimate dinning area, a massive 4 post bed with canopy and nice deep spa and a shower to die for. Comes with robes and slippers and as a nice touch there are welcome signs in the window. Beautiful views, wildlife to feed and peace and quiet.
Only problems were I had trouble getting to the room from the car park with my wheely bag due to gravel and

A serene and peaceful place to be for a romantic night, to chill or for deeper thought processes. Best visit time is during the dusk, when u slowly see Melbourne glowing in the beautiful setting sun's golden rays and later when you see the skies above illuminating with the colourful stars competing with the luminous Melbourne below the Mountain Ranges.
