Osteopathy is a manual form of treatment that aims to treat the cause of your problem. This is done by taking a thorough history and examination. Osteopathy celebrated 100 years in Australia in 2007 and collectively we treat over 30 000 people per week. Osteopathy is not an alternative health option - osteopaths are university trained, government registered, allied health professionals.

The most common type of headache originates from tension, muscle stiffness or joint strain in the neck and upper thoracic region*. Osteopaths, as primary health care practitioners, are trained to differentiate between headaches with common causes and those due to serious pathology. You should always seek advice from a health professional, including an osteopath, if you get a headache after head trauma and/or the headache is getting worse.
Studies show that osteopathic treatment reduces back pain, increases mobility and speeds the recovery process*. Your osteopath can assist you to develop the course of action consistent with your lifestyle, symptoms and goals to manage your back and neck pain. Osteopaths can be visited without a referral from a GP and are trained to know the difference between uncomplicated back pain and back pain requiring referral to specialist care.
Pelvic pain can be caused by a wide variety of conditions. Osteopaths can help with pain caused by trauma or repetitive strain. Muscles from the abdomen and lower limbs attach to the pelvis and overuse or overexertion of these regions can result in pelvic injury and pain. Your osteopath will work with you to determine the cause of your pain and decide on a course of treatment.

Big SHOUT out and THANK YOU to Rose.. Have had ongoing shoulder issues for over 14 months, with cycling through 2 different other physio's, endless scans and medical appts, with no outcome for the ongoing pain. One visit with Rose and I've made more progress in 45 minutes than in excess of a year.. Thanks Rose and looking forward to the next appt. You're a STAR!!

It was naturally going NG to be a painful experience and she left me smiling and understanding everything. Couldn't give a higher recommendation. Thank you
