Joey's Cottage Preschool is a purpose built, privately owned and operated early education, preschool and childcare centre established in 1994 and based in Chipping Norton. With over 30 years experience in early childhood and primary education, we are committed to providing the highest standards in education and childcare for children aged 3-6 years.
Joey's Cottage is designed to promote a warm and family orientated environment enhancing child development in a fun and educational manner, helping to prepare children for their further schooling years. Services
Our centre is deeply committed to providing a warm challenging and positive environment to encourage each child to develop to his/her fullest potential at their own pace as well as gain independence, initiative and positive self-esteem. Children learn through collaboration and communication with other children and adults as they interact with their environment.
Joey's Cottage is made up of two educational rooms, the Rosellas and Pelicans catering for mixed aged groups. The learning environment is designed to facilitate children's interest and extend on their learning. We aim to assist the children to develop to their full potential by providing a challenging and positive environment, to encourage each child to gain independence, initiative, problem solving skills, positive self-esteem.

The staff you have are incredible and I truly mean that, so caring, so compassionate, so understanding and so FRIENDLY.
Under State and Commonwealth government funding agreements, we are required to follow priority of access guidelines. Priority 2: a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work, training, study test. After your position has been offered a security bond is payable to Joey's Cottage.
The first day of preschool is a time of excitement and uncertainty for many families. It is common for children (and parents) to experience feelings of anxiety in the lead up to starting care. It takes time for them to adjust to their routine, build relationships, and understand that their new preschool is a fun, safe, and happy place.

Our daughter Miranda attends Joey's Cottage. She comes home full of joy and laughter. I work full time so she goes to preschool 5 days a week. I'm so grateful she's being well educated, loved and looked after by great teachers and caring staff.
Did I mention that Joey's Cottage is super big, super clean and super exciting? A great place to give your children a head start in life. We all know how important this is- emotionally, socially and academically.

The staff are incredible, so caring, so compassionate, so understanding and so FRIENDLY. The staff make attending an absolute pleasure. My child is constantly speaking highly of the staff and how much he enjoys attending Joeys.
The meals are great, my child has tried so many new things with the help of the staff providing encouragement. The centre is clean and has fresh veggies and herbs

Both of my children always rave about Joeys Cottage Pre-School.
They are one of the not-too-many pre-schools around where the owners don’t seem to be all about increasing their profits, and actually care about your children.
The teachers are loved by all, the owners actually live in the area, they always great you with a smile, and no body else around can compete with their facilities.
Definitely a 5-star rating as nothing else in the area even comes close..

Joey’s cottage is by far the BEST childcare/preschool in the area. My 3 children have attended there and have thrived. The actually LEARN! The staff are just beautiful, caring & loving people. The owners are just magnificent! It’s all about the children and not about how to make an extra buck! Highly recommend this preschool, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring towards the children. It's a family run business, so the kids are treated with genuine care, they are treated like family. The kids never have a complaint when being dropped off. This is a wonderful centre. My eldest son is in his second year here and I can highly recommend them for many reasons. I love the fact that the staff are well educated and they pass on their knowledge to my son. He loves going to school and it gives me peace of mind to know he is well looked after. It is not a large centre with only 2 rooms which is great because I know he gets the attention he deserves. The environment and learning is worth more than 5 stars. Extremely happy! I will definitely send my second born here as well.

This is a wonderful preschool setting. The staff are highly trained and experienced. My daughter loves going to school and more importantly I am comfortable sending her there. They have great home cooked meals and snacks for the kids everyday and a lovely environment. Couldn't be happier and overall highly recommend.
