Intent on self employment I bought, owned and operated a tree lopping business in Brisbane for 11 years from 1991 until 2002. I moved to Sydney and worked in the tree services industry here. As a result, I became qualified, gained experience in EWP, crane work, and a multitude of climbing and cutting techniques.
I also worked in multiple universities, on Ausgrid, RMS and many council sites. This all resulted in a wealth of knowledge. I had been living in Sutherland Shire for a while and settled in Engadine. I started Sydney Tree Works in 2011 with my partner Jane and our tree services business has grown accordingly from there.

We had so many trees and stumps that needed removal on the front and back of the house. Everything was done earlier than expected. Sydney Tree Works removed 2 trees next to our house today and their service was exceptional. Timely, efficient and clean, even our neighbour booked in for an extra tree to be removed on the spot and they were extremely accommodating. We came across Sydney Tree Works after the recent storm damaged some trees in our yard. The SES arranged for them to attend and sort out the damage. We were so impressed by their professionalism, efficiency and friendliness that we got them back to do some more work removing and pruning 12 trees from our property. It was a massive job and they attended on three occasions. Each time they turned up exactly when they said they would, worked hard and left everything spotless. Jim and Matt are great.
