The MV 'A-TEAM' is a custom built 38ft charter fishing boat powered by a 300hp turbo diesel 6.8lt power plant. The fiberglass GPR hull and modern design makes it very stable at sea and rides even rough seas with ease. Spend more time fishing and less time traveling. Get what you pay for! A-TEAM boasts heaps of rear deck space and can comfortably fit 14 fisherman offshore and 25 passengers in shore.
Blue Reef Fishing Trips is one of Sydney's most experienced Fishing Trips, with over 20 years experience. This charter is the most popular fishing trip that we offer, taking you out over some of the most incredible fishing reefs off the coast of Sydney. Typically, we fish between 3 and 12 nautical miles from the coast, in productive fishing waters of up to 120 meters in depth.
Once a booking is made, a deposit of $400 or 50% is to be made to confirm and secure the booking. We accept Credit Card payments via MasterCard and Visa. The balance can be made via credit card cleared on the charter day or cash payments made on boarding the vessel prior to departure. No exceptions.
Important note: For those who are not used to being out on a boat for long periods of time, we would highly recommend that you take a travel calming tablet to help minimize the effects of sea sickness. We will not return early, so take the necessary precautions. In addition to that, we do not offer refunds for any passengers who suffer from sea or motion sickness.
We can pick up from any location in Sydney Harbour. However we suggest 4 wharfs that are best situated to maximize your fishing time and reduce travel time. Located in Balmain, this is the main ferry wharf located in the heart of Balmain. Free parking on Mort Street, Balmain is our most common pickup location.

It may mean an early alarm but it is well worth doing it to see the harbour at first light on a cracking day for fishing. Adam and the crew were fantastic and everyone of the 8 of us caught fish and really enjoyed it as we had the boat to just us and ever helpful crew. All kit is supplied and even though we had some tangles and lost weights, mainly due to the Barracuda's, they were always fast and efficient to get you back to fishing as soon as possible. We'll see you same time next year.

If I could given a six star review I would! Adam from blue reef fishing charters is an all around legend. He is super accommodating and makes the whole experience fun. We are a group of paramedics that try and go once a year with Blue Reef, and every time we have a blast. I highly recommend this company.

Had a great day fishing today. 12 passengers onboard who all caught something including me who normally couldn’t catch a cold. This was my third charter and ranks at the top. The boat was very clean and both the skipper and first mate were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We had an excellent mornings fishing the Saturday just gone. Adam, Steve and Matt were great hosts and took us to great spots and everyone on the boat caught fish. Real nice guys who were super helpful and were on the ball when it came to helping the less experienced people on board. Also caught a personal best flathead!

It was a great day all round.
There was about 11 people fishing on the boat, so there was a few tangles but nothing the crew couldn't fix quickly.
We caught a decent amount of fish.
The crew was friendly, professional, and had some sweet tunes playing while fishing as well.
Would recommend to give this one a go.
