Bermagui is a five-hour drive south of Sydney, a nine-hour drive north of Melbourne, and a two and a half hour drive south east of Canberra. You can either drive to Bermagui or catch a plane to either Merimbula or Moruya, pick up a hire car and drive to Bermagui. By car, Bermagui is only one hour north or Merimbula and one hour south of Moruya.

Bermagui offers exceptional Marlin fishing; anglers regularly catch Blue, Black and Stripped Marlin throughout the season, which runs from January through to May, with peak months being January, February and March. Anglers raise and catch Stripped Marlin well over 120kg. The continental shelf is 20 km offshore from Bermagui which is the closest point from the mainland; this means Bermagui offers outstanding deep sea fishing all year round.

Tackle and Bait shop. Suppliers of the freshest bait variety in Sydney. Green eyed Squid is killer. Live tubeworms with a mortality rate of 24 hours suitable for any fishing mission. Live nippers and prized Live Hawkesbury prawns, a guaranteed bite attractor on any hook in nsw's waters. Fresh Hawkesbury Squid, even live beach worms 🤔(only the soul fisherman would understand). Great customer service, huge variety of fishing gear and reasonable prices.

Great service friendly staff they advertised as being open 24 hours during the holidays and they were also the bait is always fresh they are always stocked up on live bait also very competitive prices when it comes to fishing tackle I bought my favourite light gear rod and reel they gave me a good deal was very happy they also know their fishing and tackle which definitely helps lots of local fishing knowledge as well as wider state knowledge in regards to fishing keep up the good work thank you guys

Up until about a week ago, I was a good customer of 'Onduty bait and tackle' until he merged with Extreme fishing.
I've never walked out of the store spending less than $300 on each visit.
Was mainly there for squid jigs because they were the cheapest around. Most likely they still are.
Once the footage of the guys from Extreme fishing was uploaded onto social media, I've decided they can kiss my business good bye.
I just can't fathom how a business which promotes fishing goes out and literally decimate the sea of snapper.
Even "if" there was 10 guys fishing. You did not need to keep all those
