Little Paddington, which opened in 1996, is a privately owned Centre catering for 60 children from 6 weeks to school age for 50 weeks a year and includes a funded four year old Kindergarten. Set in a converted Federation style home, the Centre has a beautiful landscaped garden with established trees and a circular driveway in the front garden, making it easy to drop off and collect the children.

We use keypad security access, safety gates, shaded play areas and well maintained buildings and resources to provide a safe environment for your child. Our Educators make sustainable practices a part of the daily routine.

Services
There is a warm, happy atmosphere at Little Paddington because the Educators and the children are all enjoying every minute of the day. Not surprisingly, we have an exceptionally low staff turnover. Many of our Educators, and indeed our Manager and Assistant Manager, have been with us for nearly 20 years.
At Little Paddington we believe it is important to build strong relationships with families to enhance the children's current and evolving interests. We also provide a daily Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children's experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.
In our nurturing and gentle care, children are seen as individuals, each with their own needs and abilities. We provide a safe, secure environment where the children can be happy and relaxed and can develop a strong sense of identity while developing socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
At Little Paddington we believe that nutrition plays a vital role in children's physical and mental development. We have engaged an accredited Nutritionist to work with our cook in designing mindful and nutritious menus. We have a four week rotating seasonal menu and in addition we cater for children with allergies and food intolerances such as egg, nut, dairy and coeliac disease.
Even the youngest children at Little Paddington join in a well-planned program which is enjoyable, challenging and motivating. As the children grow, their concentration increases and they are introduced to more structured programs, but the emphasis is always on play and fun. Our curriculum principles include Numeracy and problem solving, Science and Technology, Language and Literacy, Creative Arts and Sustainability and caring for our planet.

We had two boys both have wonderful early learning & developmental experiences at Little Paddington’s childcare center through the nursery, the toddler room and the kinder.
The carers are all incredible and both boys developed wonderful relationships with their peers and caregivers alike. The boys still talk often and fondly of their carers whom they developed lovely bonds with.

Little Paddington is a lovely caring centre. My little boy is ever so delighted to attend. The staff in the nursery are extremely loving and attentive. What I personally like the most is the staff are a little older and mothers themselves. So they understand and respect our wishes.
Don’t be fooled by the mass childcare centres that are popping up around our area, they do look very flash however their staff are nowhere near as attentive as they are at Little Paddingtons.
