Services
Little Lane Early Learning Centre is a family owned early childhood education and care service located in Hawthorn, Melbourne. Little Lane Early Learning Centre is a purpose built, state of the art facility with a dedicated art studio, large open classrooms flooded with natural light, outdoor learning classrooms, a purpose-built dance floor and so much more.
Little Lane Early Learning Centre provides high quality Education and Care Programs for children aged from 3 months to school age, delivered by our highly skilled and educated early childhood educators. All of our programs incorporate intentional teaching through play-based programs supported by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
Little Lane Early Learning Centre provides 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten Programs to eligible children at no additional cost. These Programs are facilitated by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, registered by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
We use children's interests as an opportunity to deliver highly sophisticated play-based curriculums that are supported by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and link directly to the AusVELS curriculum to facilitate a smooth transition into formal schooling.

The Little Lane Early Learning Centre Art Program is delivered in our purpose-built Atelier by our artist in residence in order to promote an appreciation of the arts within the early years. Our artist in residence has the skills and passion required to facilitate our unique art curriculum to children aged 0-5 years.
Specifically design for children aged 0-5 years using the Kodly concept, the Little Lane Early Learning Centre Music Program provides opportunities for each child to participate in weekly music classes, delivered by our highly skilled and trained Early Childhood music teacher.
Our specialised Early Childhood music teacher understands the importance and benefits of prompting developing speech, vocabulary, listening and memory skills through structured and planned music lessons.

Today I booked my 4 year old at little lane early learning.
I had a Tour the day before, the staff the facility itself was fantastic. They also allowed me to do a payment plan which is great for mums going back to work after Covid.
They couldn’t have done more for me... so helpful caring and their philosophy around early learning was the best can’t wait to start my daughter on Monday thanks guys

My daughter has been going to Little Lane since she was 10 months old, and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Enza, Bushra and Nikki looked after her initially, and they still come and check in on her. Chris, Sonya, Jackie and Kelsey are lovely people, and you can tell they don't treat their work just as a job - they always go above and beyond in looking after the children. They are caring and observant, and have been very patient (with mum and bub!) when transitioning to daycare. I call to see how my daughter is going, and Chris usually gives me a detailed update, and it's never too much trouble

My son (2 and a half years old) has been enrolled at Little Lane in Hawthorn for about 14 months and we have decided to leave the centre in March 2020.
Initially, we have been impressed by the new place and its setup: it has been sold very well to us.
The facts are that the management is really focus on doing business and not developing kids’ skills.
During the time that he was at Little Lane, we had 4 different directors including the last one, that has the title of “Area Manager”. Few of the managers have been good: in fact, they left after few months and the same happened for the floor
