Ensure that you are happy that you are going to receive up to date information as your matter progresses. Ask if there is a policy regarding copies of correspondence in and out being sent to you. At Bennett Carroll Solicitors, providing you with information and copies of correspondence is automatic.
The difficulty with such things as legal services is that you never really know the size of the job when the matter begins. Excellent service, knowledgeable and prompted addressing of issues with the other party or their solicitor that required follow up or recovery of funds from them - e.g. we were recommended to ensure the additional legal fees were reimbursed as part of settlement for the late extension of the settlement date plus extra important clauses relating to insurance extensions, etc. which were very useful
