Athina is the founder and director of Macarthur Natural Health Clinic, which she has established over the past 20 years. Her Bachelor of Science Degree from New South Wales University includes an Anatomy major. She also completed 5 years' study in Chiropractic, including a 2 year Masters' Degree from Macquarie University.
Athina has completed further studies in Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Activator Technique and is proficient in manual adjusting techniques including Diversified. Athina grew up in the Macarthur region, and feels a deep sense of commitment towards its community, through aiding healing and maintenance of health.

Active Release Technique or A.R.T is an increasingly popular treatment alternative to conventional remedial massage. A.R.T is a patented, state of the art soft tissue release technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. This is achieved by placing the tissues through the ranges of movement and applying tension to break up any scar tissue or adhesions within the tissues.
At Macarthur Natural Health Clinic our practitioners are certified to provide a form of Western Acupuncture known as Musculoskeletal Dry Needling. It is a treatment modality that can be provided in conjunction with your Chiropractic treatments. Dry Needling targets myofascial trigger points - sore tight spots in a muscle that can be tender to touch.
The Thompson Drop Technique utilizes specific tables that drop or give way to provide a mechanical advantage, enabling the movement of one joint to pass another. It is a reassuring process, not an uncomfortable procedure and prevents accidental over manipulation.

Always great service, friendly and accomodating. Big thanks to Nicholas, Serina, Emma and Jake. I recently attend for a massage and was in pain with my hip and they were so accommodating that I got to see Jake right after the massage. Staff are friendly and welcoming you don’t feel like a number. Always recommend Macarthur Natural Health without hesitation. Thanks guys

The staff are always warm and welcoming. Jin (chiro) has fixed my posture and erased years of tension in my neck, shoulders and back. Kate (remedial massage) manages to keep me calm and relaxed whilst getting deep in the muscles. I would and do recommend Macarthur Natural Health Clinic to anyone and everyone

Can’t say enough good things about the people and services at this clinic! From the courtesy at reception to the deep tissue massages and dry needling. This crew took me from not being able to walk without assistance to running the City to Surf race in just a couple months. I usually request Jake because his techniques are perfect for my bulging disc but all the chiropractors here are truly outstanding!

The professional and friendly staff are very accommodating . They take health security seriously and check your temperature as you enter and ask you to you use sanitizer. The masseuse are knowledgeable and ask you about any health issues you might have and what your expectations are of the treatment. The providers are fully masked and gloved. This is a highly commendable operation. The only issue I have is that it is difficult to get consecutive weekly appointments without going on the waiting list.

I had never been to see a chiro previously but I was having some issues with my hand, after speaking with Nicholas he let me know that they would be able to help,
After the first session it was like having a new hand!
I have been seeing Jake for 4 months now and keeping up the regular visits to maintain not just my hand but whole body.
Can't recommend them highly enough.
