The Captain Cook Tavern is a versatile function space, with increased bistro capacity, we're able to accommodate more guests and allow you to relax as we make sure your event runs as it should. Our bistro hosts a larger number of guests, and our team are able to tailor the layout for our room to suite.
Here at Captain Cook Tavern our Gaming Room features 45 of the latest gaming machines, Keno terminal, and link jackpots including the latest Lightning Link, Dragon Link, Jackpot Carnival and Rapid Fire Machines. We have a Ticket In Ticket Out system in operation, allowing you to move quickly and easily between machines.

It is my birthday today and I visited the Tavern and had a beautiful lunch. It was rather sad because I was alone. I have family nearby but after taking most of my money they decided that I was no longer considered to be a part of the family. I am the youngest of 8 and most of my sisters except for 2 have died and so have my 2 brothers. My parents passed away when I was young I am 69 years old.

An interesting cook up last night for visitors to the area.. My husband was absolutely disgusted in his oil -blown over cooked battered fish ,chips and salad..,it looked shocking.Our son confirmed the same thoughts when seeing and tasting it himself.we ordered our drinks via table menu code and had to chase these up as the guy behind the bar was pre occupied in a chin wag with kitchen staff!

Came in for Seniors Lunch and Manager Bran went out of his way to find gluten free options and found that although not marked, the salt and pepper calamari was our choice and it was a generous size and was excellent. Service excellent, Max on the drinks was great and all staff friendly. Highly recommend
