Louise Shaw Jewellery creates unique Jewellery for and with people who enjoy expressing their individuality. The Jewellery I make for customers is informed by an individuals style and the design expertise I bring as a trade qualified Jeweller. I love knowing through collaboration together we have formed a unique piece that will go with them or to a loved one and be cherished.
I have enjoyed working as a Jeweller in Londons Carnaby st; worked as a creative Jeweller, sculptor, and props maker in the Film industry, and taught as a Jewellery tutor in the Stand Arcade of Sydney, but as an artist my ideas and creativity blossom when surrounded by nature's natural beauty. I enjoy being involved in the amazing community of Byron Bay, and the creative harmonious working environments people create here.

Pear diamonds sit next to small round diamonds in this delicate and intricate custom made. Hand-made wedding ring set with a salt and pepper shield diamond and small faceted diamonds. This ring is 18ct gold and holds a lovely deep pinky peach coloured pear shaped tourmaline. This ring was designed to compliment the beautiful faceted pink tourmaline which is set in.

It is often possible to re-purpose old Jewellery or add stones or elements from sentimental Jewellery into a new design. Repurposing a piece of jewellery that is sentimental to you or having jewellery you do not wear re-fashioned into a design more your style is exciting and creative. Stones and often metal can be recycled, which is not just good for your pocket, but also the earth.

Louise was fantastic to work with, she articulated what I wanted but couldn't express myself. I had both Katie's engagement and wedding ring made by Louise (as well as my own wedding ring) and honestly they are better than perfect! She worked with me very patiently throughout the design process and used her own design experience and expertise to create rings that are truly unique. I wouldn't get rings made anywhere else and neither should you! Thanks Louise!!!

Louise was a great instructor for the wedding ring workshop. She was guiding us through the process in a very kind way, not too much pressure but hands-on if needed. She patiently answered all questions and her experience and skills were noticeable throughout the day. The atmosphere was relaxed, low-stress and enjoyable - a great way to do your own piece of jewellery. Thank you, Louise!
