These are particularly challenging times, that we are all navigating. The impacts of: isolation, job uncertainty, relationship stress, health challenges - are taking their toll on many of us. Offering a very private and supportive experience, we invite a reflective and creative approach, to inspire healing and transformation.
We work together with you to help you find your right path forward. For you or your child this may involve family counselling, or for others it may involve addressing communication difficulties in relationship or struggles with anxiety and depression. All of this can be provided both in-person or via ONLINE COUNSELLING.

Both passionate about community, we initially met as fellow parents at our children's school. A couple of years later, we unexpectedly met again, but now as fellow students at university. Over the subsequent years, as we both navigated the highs and the lows of family life, study, work and the deep self reflection that is required of any individual undertaking psychotherapeutic study, we became dear friends and colleagues.
There are times when children benefit from counselling. The impact of some issues, such as separation, bullying or school anxiety are obvious but sometimes as a parent or care giver it's not as clear why a child has become withdrawn, worried, tearful or aggressive, but if you feel your child might need counselling, trust your instincts.
Facing struggles on our own, can be an incredibly isolating experience. As humans, we are designed to operate within a social system and without the support of others we can lose our way. Whether engaging in counselling, as an individual or as a couple, the counselling experience can offer an opportunity to reconnect more authentically with ourselves and with each other.
In Australia, if you are a psychologist, a counsellor, or a social worker - as a part of your self care, it is a mandatory part of your registration that you maintain minimum levels of supervision. However, for many others working in the helping profession, supervision is not provided. Group supervision at The Grove offers an economical way to support both teams and individuals.
Anxiety is a common condition that many people suffer from, at different times in their lives. Whilst a degree of anxiety is normal, for some people, anxiety can become a daily struggle, which can begin to interfere with life. How we experience anxiety, how anxiety affects our life, and what contributes to us feeling anxious - is very individual.
