We provide advice and reports (usually Heritage Impact Statements) in relation to development proposals relating to heritage items, buildings within heritage conservation areas and for works that may affect a heritage item or area. Over 20 years of experience working in relation to heritage buildings and heritage areas ensure that advice provided is relevant and can be relied upon.
BASIX is an initiative by the NSW Government that requires all new and significantly altered dwellings to be designed and built to achieve a reduction in water consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. A BASIX certificate is required to be lodged with most applications for residential building works.
New buildings that fall under Classes 2 to 9 (multi unit buildings or non-residential buildings) of the BCA are required to comply with the Section J energy saving requirements of the NCC/BCA. Usually consent authorities require a Section J compliance report at either the Development Application or Construction Certificate stage.
