Jonathan Porter burst onto the golfing scene in the early 90's and turned professional by the age of 19. He completed his traineeship at Huntingdale Golf Club winning 9 trainee tournaments along the way, playing alongside Scott Laycock (Previous Winner of Australian Order of Merit). Jonathan also won two Fosters Special Bitter Long Drive Tournaments before heading off overseas to run a Golf Academy and conduct golf lessons in Indonesia.

Video Analysis will be completed in your one hour lesson and emailed to you enabling you to review & later compare your swing with a professional or your old swing and see the improvement.I love teaching kids how to play golf and take a real enjoyment out of their success. Whether they wish to excel at golf or just play it for fun, I give them the sound basic fundamentals that will set their golf up for years to come.

Once a few golf lessons have been completed a very good way of testing what you have learnt is to have an on course session with myself. These are completed at Sandhurst Golf Club, Oakleigh Golf Course and Keysborough Golf Club and are 9 holes or 18 holes. This can also be shared between 3 other mates, but I always recommend an individual lesson prior to commencement.
I enjoy coaching and giving golf lessons to women of all standards and believe anyone can learn this wonderful game of golf. From the Beginner to Advanced Women Golfer, I am happy to pass on everything that I have learnt from coaching all types of golfer, to lift your game to the next level, or if just beginning the game set you up with the correct basic fundamentals.

Johnathan has been coaching my son for a year and he amazing the improvement he has made with his coaching is fantastic. He has gone from a double figures to single in a very short time. He is extremely patient and professional with my son and explains everything to us parents at every lesson , which helps is to know our money is well spent. He also cross communicates with the apps and shows what technique he is working on which is great as I have no idea about golf . Thanks for your support Johnathan

Jonathan has been coaching our son for a couple of years and his patience and commitment is second to none! Our son isn't the easiest customer to coach but Jonathan perseveres and makes it fun.
