BENTLEIGH's most experienced Physiotherapist, Brendan Dax, provides personal Physiotherapy treatment. He has extensive experience in the management of injury and pain in the back, neck, shoulder, arm and leg, including work and sporting injuries. His aim is to restore you to normal as quickly as possible.
This increases joint movement and decreases pain. As well he will provide advice and strategies for dealing with your problem in the future. It is a breach of AHPRA advertising guidelines for practioners to publish testimonials on websites.

Services
This is a boutique Physiotherapy practice giving one to one personal treatment. Brendan Dax is the sole practitioner and will be your direct contact in managing your problem. This means that you will only have one person to explain yourself to. You will also have the confidence of being in the hands of Bentleigh's most experienced Physiotherapist.
If you have private health cover for Physiotherapy, your rebate can be claimed on the spot via HICAPS. Remember to bring your Health Fund Card to every appointment. Your first Physiotherapist consultation is free every year through the "More for Muscles" program. Brendan has been a "More for Muscles" Physiotherapist since its inception.
The Australian Government provides access for 5 sessions of treatment in total from various practitioners including Physiotherapists. Not everyone is eligible for this treatment and your must be referred by your doctor with an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral. Check with your doctor for eligibility but generally you must have a chronic medical condition or under the care of two or more health or care providers.
All the tissues in our body can bruise. We've all had one. Sometimes heavy compression on joints can damage the surfaces of bones causing bleeding inside the bone surface. In simple terms, this is a bone bruise where the bone is injured but not fractured. I mostly see this in the bones of the foot or knee damaged by clients during sport or from jumping onto hard surfaces, especially with a straight knee.
